1. Check your lights and wipers
While it’s all fun and exciting as we drive outside with the people we care the most, or even drive just by ourselves, always check your lights and wipers function properly. This is to ensure that you can see and be seen. Check the interior and exterior lights for any dimming, rapidly blinking, or not functioning. Also check wiper blades for any tear and replace them if necessary.

2. Have your brake annually checked
It’s very obvious that we must check the integrity of our brakes but many people still fail or even neglect to do this. As a result, many untimely accidents occur! To avoid such unfortunate instances, always have your brake checked. It is recommended to have someone check your brake annually. Also, check for any warning signs such as an illuminated brake light or screeching, grinding or clicking noises when applying the brakes.

3. Check tires for excessive wear or under inflation
Make sure to check tread depth and tire pressure. Refill underinflated tires including the spare and look for uneven wear. This ensures you that you have all the fun when the carpool season hits full swing! Seat belt for safety!

4. Don’t forget to buckle up for safety! Always use seat belts when driving.
